Verification and indemnity clause for e-commerce portal for compliance of Income Tax Rule 114B I, buyer, do hereby declare that above quoted Permanent Account Number is belongs to me and is valid. Further, hereby undertake to indemnify and hold Diesel harmless from all claims, action from the tax authorities or any other authority, risks, exposure arising to Diesel on account of Diesel using this declaration. Further, | undertake to immediately reimburse any additional tax liability, interest or imposition of penalty which may be charged on Diesel by the tax authorities or any other authority for submitting and utilising the above declaration and resolve such dispute/litigation at my own cost. Note: The Income Tax Department can impose a penalty of INR 10,000 as per section 272B of Income Tax Act on buyer, if buyer quotes or intimates a Permanent Account Number which is false, and which he either knows or believes to be false or does not believe to be true.
